We spoke with office managers around the country to stay on top of how they keep their offices stocked with healthy groceries and snacks. Here’s what we heard from the pros on what it takes to keep an office happy and healthy:
1. Nut and grains come at a tradeoff – storage.
Nuts such as walnuts and almonds are full of protein, are heart-healthy and can provide other health benefits related to cholesterol, fiber intake and more. While nuts can be very beneficial to your teams, be conscious of both sanitary storage options and nut allergies. A few tips to consider:
- Choose a nut dispenser or individually wrapped bags.
- Be aware of any nut allergies and consider storing nut dispensers in lower traffic areas.
2. Not all energy bars are healthy. Make sure what you buy is all-natural (no artificial flavors).
