For countless offices across the country, this week marks 6 months of working from home. While this time has been full of ups and downs, we want to reminisce on the moments of joy, growth, and togetherness. Here’s what our team has been up to for the past 6 months:

March: The very beginning.

We set up our home office stations, dressed up for Zoom calls, and learned how to work from home. We made quarantinis for virtual happy hours, watched Tiger King, and made sourdough and homemade pizzas.

April: Peak lockdown.

We stayed connected with daily calls, Jackbox games, virtual puzzles on Fridays, and snack box morale boosts. We exchanged cute mask recommendations in our team Slack channel for the first time ever. We welcomed baby Margot to the OffieLuv family.

May: Talks of returning to offices began across the country.

We created an eBook guide and supply list for those returning. Our team decided to work from home through the end of the year, so we finally ordered standing desks for our home offices.

June: Black lives matter.

We learned about anti-racism, and how to be anti-racist in the tech space and in our everyday lives. We started to learn and read and watch, working toward becoming better allies

July: Going on 4 months of working from home.

We launched Employee Stipends and continued adapting to the times. We started a new team Happy Hour series of reliving our youths via Catchphrase, Supermarket Sweep games, and Unsolved Mysteries discussions.

August: In it for the long haul.

We premiered our OfficeLuv Shop to the public, and we launched the popular desk plant category to customers. We built a curated WFH Favorites category for simple Stipend shopping.

September: Looking ahead.

We’re starting to plan ahead for Holiday gifting while in a remote atmosphere. We’re continuing to prepare for office reopenings, whenever the time comes. We’re blown away by how simultaneously quickly and slowly the past 6 months have passed.

We’re still here for you and your “office,” even if it is remote for a while longer.

Continuing to wish you good health,

-The OfficeLuv Team
